Löwen Hotel Montafon
Modern alpine chic and a regional character were the goals of the redesign of Hotel Löwen in Montafon. For this purpose the concept of “being hosted by friends in a Montafon cottage” was developed. The application of this concept was reflected in the architecture, interior design and branding. The appearance of Löwen Hotel fits to the alpine setting and local Montafon scenery. The interior design is dominated by natural regional materials. Wood, stone and glass in combination with a warm colour scheme create a modern and
comfortable atmosphere. Traditional regional cross stitch patterns are found in abstract forms, in the ceiling panels, wall lighting and cupboard fronts. The ground floor bar is a focal point in the centre of the building. The rooms play with the contrast between traditional and modern, old and new materials. The bathrooms with their faceted tiles, rustic wood panelling with classical fittings present an exciting contrast to modern alpine elements.
