Preview of Hotel Atlantis façade

The new façade of Hotel Atlantis is being designed under the motto of “back to the roots – up to date”. The aim is to transform the concept of the existing façade into a more contemporary one. This involves digitising and preparing the structure of the original washed concrete, and then abstracting and milling it as a negative plate. This, in turn, is used as the formwork for the new concrete elements. This enables us to create a façade based on the washed concrete slabs from 1970, yet which in appearance is consistently contemporary.
