Grand Hotel Rhodania

Monoplan has been tasked with planning the new build of the Grand Hotel Rhodania in Crans Montana. This hotel was once known for its magnificent charm. The design concept aims to resurrect the grandeur and glamour of the former hotel and place it in a new context in interesting ways. High-quality, natural materials will create a timeless, elegant and extremely luxurious ambience.

As well as 41 suites, two exclusive maisonette suites on the roof – at 150 m² and 180 m² respectively – are some of the highlights of the new hotel.
The restaurant has been divided into two different spaces with different ambiences, but which complement each other; a sheltered area with tables for private conversation, and an open area for those wanting a more lively and bustling setting.

The concept for the spa is based on the Five Elements, which will characterise the atmosphere of each area, such as the indoor pool, sauna, hammam, snow-cave, relaxation area and treatment rooms.
