Moxy Simmern

The newly opened Moxy Hotel Simmern is located in the heart of the Hunsrück, between the Rhein, Mosel and Nahe. Monoplan was commissioned to do the interior design of the hotel. For this project we got mainly inspired by technology and the history of the place. Our design uses up-cycled materials, art installations and energetic colours to create unconventional, unique spaces.

The 96 rooms are modern, comfortable and decorated with lovely details and accessories that round up the guest’s lifestyle experience. On the ground floor, various public areas like the lobby, reception, conference rooms and lounge with bar, merge together to form an “open lobby”. The breakfast buffet is based on a “grab-and-go” concept. Long tables and comfortable lounges invite you to relax and make new friends.
