Schweizerhof Bern

The Schweizerhof hotel in Bern is steeped in tradition, and is one of the most famous hotels of the capital. During the two-year restoration of the 5-star-superior hotel, Monoplan was responsible for the constructional realisation of the piano nobile, the hotel lobby and the cigar lounge. The lobby, as the face of the hotel, is its central point and hub.

Here the focus was placed on the striking reception, made from back-lit onyx, which draws attention in a harmonious environment of the traditional and the modern. With the restoration works complete, the Schweizerhof shines in a new splendour with a contemporary design and grandeur.
