Restaurant Pedi in “Architektur in Baden-Württemberg” 2012 edition

Every three years since 1969, the regional association of the BDA (Bund Deutscher Architekten – Association of German Architects) in Baden-Württemberg has been presenting the “Hugo-Häring” award for exemplary construction projects in Baden-Württemberg in Germany. The award goes to clients and architects for their collaborative work. With each awards ceremony, a new edition of the “Architektur in Baden-Württemberg” (Architecture in Baden-Württemberg) series is published.

In 2011/2012, nine buildings were awarded the prestigious architectural award from Baden-Württemberg – the “Hugo-Häring” regional award: these included educational centre “Kloster Hegne Marianum” in Allensbach, art school “Galerie und Kunstschule Unteres Remstal” in Waiblingen, sports hall “Turnhalle plus X” in Mannheim, the woodland cemetery chapel in Aalen, and the single-family dwelling “JustK” in Tübingen. In total, 137 buildings have been awarded the “Hugo-Häring” award. They have all been compiled in the tenth edition of the “Architektur in Baden-Württemberg” series.
